Content Criteria

Complete, thoughtful and fully researched content makes the web a better place and makes us happy to award you. Work that is completely done by you, without the use of outside sources will be considered original content for this award. While outside sources may be used, the work should be credited to the original author and should not be the sole body of content for the site. Content that is based on a timeline should be maintained with frequent notable updates. We will visit more than once to check for updates, that is why we allow 30 days for a review.

If you have a site as simple as one about the family dog, that's cool, but we are looking for more than photos of Spot running. Here are some examples of the detailed content we want to see:

• What breed is the animal? • Is that breed good or bad for kids? • How often are visits to the vet needed? • Any details on special care and diet? • Will this breed chew shoes as a puppy? • How often is a walk good for the animal? • Are they easy to train and do they behave? • Does this animal do well in an apartment?	These suggestions, while specific to a pet site, should set an example for detailing any site. Think about your visitors need for information. When new information becomes available on your topic make sure you include it quickly. Many of your guests will not continue to visit if your site appears outdated or does not show continuing care. Finally, remember crediting original authors after seeking their permission is of utmost importance. Please do not steal from anyone while making your site.
